Banks, a Post Office, 7-11, laundry, petrol stations and a large grocery store are located a short 1/2 km walk away in the town of Fish Hoek.

1 km in the opposite direction lies the town of Kalk Bay where you will find antique shops, art galleries and several very good restaurants, many of which are located in the picturesque harbour. Here you can feast on the the fresh fish brought in daily by local fisherman or buy fresh fish to take home.

The local jazz club with nightly entertainment and a festive pub offer plenty of nightlife.
